Jack Norfleet came into our rescue program on October 9, 2014. Jack Norfleet into our rescue program from The Jones Livestock Auction. Jack is a special case. I saw Jack on his property several months ago and noticed his poor body condition. I kept a close eye on Jack, as I knew he was new to this property. Once I didn't see any improvements in his body condition, I reported him to the local authorities. The last time that I drove by to check on him, I noticed new hay had been put out but Jack was gone. I received a tip late that evening that he was taken to the Jones Livestock Auction. My heart sank, as that wasn't the outcome that I had wanted for Jack. So, we jumped out of bed and ran up to the sale, in hopes we wasn't too late. We arrived and the sale was nearly over. We went inside and he was the next horse to be sold. We bought Jack for $100.00 and absolutely NO ONE bid against us. I guess others saw too many issues with Jack and didn't feel that he was worth the effort to save. We didn't care what he needed, we just knew that he deserved better life and a second chance. Jack Norfleet is a Beautiful, Registered, Black/White, Paint, Stud. Jack Norfleet is 18 years of age. He is a super sweet boy and loves attention. Jack isn't able to retract his penis, he is a body score of a 2, infested with parasites and his teeth were in horrible condition. We had his teeth floated and pulled blood work to see what is going on and to get a plan in place for his rehabilitation. Jack is a special boy with a long road of recovery ahead of him. Update April 2015 Jack Norfleet is doing great and now seeking his forever, loving family. Jack has gained a lot of weight. He still has a bit more to go, but he is certainly on the right path. Jack is super sweet. He loves attention, always comes to greet you, easy to catch, just has an amazing disposition and personality. Jack has been gelded. Jack is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. He is very quiet and has a willing to please attitude. Jack stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Due to the poor condition of Jack's teeth, he will need to be fed a senior diet and have his teeth floated yearly. Jack Norfleet has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Jack Norfleet has been adopted to a wonderful family in Clinton, Oklahoma. Jack Norfleet is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this super sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves, where he will be showered with attention and love.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
